We are taking a company wide effort to take action and make a difference in our community through volunteer work. This initiative is not limited to full time employees, or even just all employees – we want to engage our community in this effort, so friends, family, regulars, and industry folks are absolutely encouraged to join!

GWINNETT CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL ADOPT-A-ROAD CLEANUP
When: October 2022, February 2023, August 2023, March 2024 & July 2024
Where: Maltbie Street at North Perry Street in Lawrenceville, GA ; Meet at the far side of parking lot across from Slow Pour
Time: 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
What we will be doing: Roadside cleanup along Maltie Street across from Slow Pour, then walk up the driveway to enjoy beer at the brewery
What to bring: Trash grabber stick, if you have one
What to wear: It might be cold, dress warm, we’ll be outside

GWINETT CREATIVE ENTERPRISES GREENHOUSE PREP
When: Saturday, April 2023 & October 2023 & June 2024
Where: Creative Enterprises – Gwinnett Campus ; 702 Hi Hope Road, Lawrenceville 30046 ; Meet in the greenhouse next to the building.
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
What we will be doing: Helping to get the greenhouse operation ready for their spring plant fundraiser.
What to wear: We’ll be outside, getting dirty so gardening clothes and work gloves.

Slow Pour will be helping with their greenhouse, which is one of their fund-raising operations.
LAWRENCEVILLE COOPERATIVE MINISTRY FOOD BANK
When: Saturday, September 2022 & February 2023 & March 2023, July 2023 & April 2024

What we will be doing: Sort and prepare food for boxing and distribution the following week; Cleaning shelves to keep warehouse clean for food storage.

What we will be doing: Help distribute food to families in need

What we will be doing: Set up the auditorium & help distribute gifts

NAVIGATE RECOVERY FUN RUN FUNDRAISER
When: Saturday, September 2023
Where: Alexander Park, 800 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville. Exact location in the park will be provided closer to the date
Time: 8:00 am – 11:00 pm
What we will be doing: Helping them conduct their Fun Run Fundraiser to support their programs. We will be staffing water stations, help with crowd control, registration, etc.
What to wear: Dress reasonably; We will be outside, rain or shine

What we will be doing: Sorting and organizing clothes for their “Wrapped In Love Closet” shop for foster children..
What to wear: Dress comfortably; We will be indoors

Group A: Help Family Promise on conducting their race event with registration, crowd control etc.
Group B: Field a Bed for Slow Pour, to include bed building and fundraising. You will be contacted with details..

YMCA COMMUNITY GARDEN

Total Volunteers Needed: 16 total; 8 for each shift
What we will be doing: Preparing the garden for it’s grand opening
What to wear: Comfortable lightweight “gardening” clothes, closed toed shoes
